Melitha Patricia Sidabutar (8 January 2001 – 8 April 2024) was an Indonesian singer. She rose to prominence after appearing on Indonesian Idol in 2014, and with her twin sister in 2020. Sidabutar sang a single that won an accolade at the Indonesian Music Awards.

Life and career

Melitha Patricia Sidabutar was born on 8 January 2001 in Balige, Toba, as the second child and eldest daughter of the three children of Elitha Purnama Martaida Siahaan and Mounstar Sidabutar. She had a twin sister named Melisha and two brothers named Rinaldo and Ronald. In 2014, Sidabutar started her career as a singer and rose to prominence after participated in Indonesian Idol season 8 in the same year. She then participated in Idol Junior in the spectacular two.

In 2020, Sidabutar and her twin sister participated in Idol Junior and Indonesian Idol season 11. She earned a golden ticket while her twin was eliminated. Melisha later died on 8 December that year due to heart failure. Sidabutar was eliminated at audition three and then established her career as a spiritual singer. She signed a contract with label record Impact Music Indonesia and releasing made her debut with "Penolong yang Setia" (A True Helper) which became high grossed single. Sidabutar also sing in YouTube and released two single "Selalu Ada Untukku" (Always There For Me) and "Tuhan Tahu" (God Knows) which gained a critical acclaim. During her career, she released more than 20 songs.

In 2023, Sidabutar was awarded The Best Christian Spiritual Song at Anugerah Musik Awards for her single "Mengucap Syukur" (Say Gratitude). She received a nomination in the same category for her single "Hanya Bersyukur" (Only Grateful), a collaboration with Sudirman Worship.

In March 2024, Sidabutar released "Kisah Indah" (Beautiful Tale), a collaboration single with Agata Verencia.

Sidabutar died from heart failure, like her twin sister, at Eka Hospital in Bekasi, West Java, on 8 April 2024. She was 23. She was buried next to her twin sister at San Diego Hills Cemetery on 11 April.
